IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE
As a community we are all facing uncertain times ahead due to the effects of the coronavirus. This practice will continue to remain open, providing valuable essential eye health services to the general community. In the interest of reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19, we recognise that as a health provider we play a vital role in helping reduce the burden of the virus on the health system.
We would like to reassure everyone we have implemented measures in our practice to protect our clients and the general community at this most challenging time. To limit the risk of spread of COVID-19, frequently touched surfaces within the practice are being cleaned thoroughly multiple times a day, including door handles, eftpos machines, keyboards and counter tops. As was the case previously, surfaces of instruments that may come in contact with people are sterilised prior to use, and other frequently touched surfaces within the examination room are cleansed prior to conducting an examination. For those in self-isolation, we would like to remind you that it is mandatory to complete the full quarantine period regardless of symptoms prior to enquiring or attending for an appointment at this practice. For those who are in self-isolation, please enquire about our delivery options for contact lenses and glasses.
We will continue to monitor the Optometry Australia's recommendations and advice provided by the Chief Medical Officer to ensure we continue to provide you with our high standards of eye care in a safe environment. Together as a community, we will overcome these unprecedented times and once more return to normal life.
